get your hands out of your trousers!!
still not sleeping...
i used to work in this crazy place for a couple of weeks. when i tell people about it they don't beleive me. even today as i try to put it down on papar, (or on my PC/WC) it seems like a whole other world. Obviously i shall not call the people i am to write about by their real name, but the names that i have chosen for them.
Sitting at my desk one 'normal' day (were any of those days actually normal?), i happened to glance over at one of my collegues, Wanna-be-alien, who happpened to have his hand down his trousers. No, you did not misread it, he actually had his hand down his trousers. I couldn't beleive my eyes, so i kindly asked him to remove his hand. He looked at me as if i asked him to do some horribly boring task, memorising the telephone directory . Later that day i caught him with his hand, you know where, down his trousers once again, and there were actually clients in the office. I glared at him and out of the corner of my mouth I explained to him that the clients didn't find it very professional to have one's hand down the front of one's trouers. He gave a me look that could have killed and asked me what MY problem was. I was so surprised at his response that i started going on automatic and i then explained to him that quite frankly we (the rest of us at the office), thought that he was touching himself while at the office and we found that rather disgusting. SInce I was on a roll i continued to explain to him that it was very unhygenic to keep one's hand down one's trousers as he had to touch the phones and the keyboard that that the rest of us would be touching and we didn't want his germs. SO he gave me one of those looks again, heaved a heavy sigh and removed his hand.
A couple of days later i walked by him at the office and before i could open my mouth, he rolled his eyes at me and said; "I know, I know" and he removed his hand all by himself. I was so happy with the progress that I had made with him i actually managed to smile at him and give him the thumbs up sign.
Beleive it or not but this guy is actually paid to be in the office!! I suppose it's every guys dream to be paid having his hand down his trousers( joke).
going to try and get some sleep, have a really good one for tomorrow!
